The holiday region Ederbergland is located in central Germany, on the edge of the Sauerland region, adjacent to the National Park basement Edersee. This detached holiday home is on the edge of Castle Forest and it is about 5 km from the center of Willersdorf district of Frankenberg (Eder) in Waldeck-Frankenberg in Hesse. It is furnished with internet access (WiFi), TV (satellite), CD, washing machine/tumble dryer and central heating.
The accommodation is suitable for 5 people, it has 2 bedrooms, a living/dining room, a bathroom and an open plan kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a patio and a shared garden with garden furniture and bbq. A play are with sandpit and trampoline is also accessible.
In addition to the home facilities you will find a pond and a soothing stream. Along the edge of the conservation area, you can enjoy biking, hiking, and Nordic walking.
Featured old towns are the Earth, the university town of Marburg, the spa town of Bad Wildungen, the Lake Eder with the castle of Waldeck. Winter sports fans will find the Ederbergland quickly from Winterberg or Willingen with its many winter sports.
The highest mountain of the castle Knebelsrod Forest (443 m) is only 15 minutes away (on foot). The town itself is situated high between 357-390 meters and has about 650 inhabitants.
