Palácio Olímpio Campos is a palace located in Aracaju, Sergipe. Opened in 1863, the building was the seat of the Sergipe state government until 1995. In 2010 it was transformed into a museum.
Emperor Dom Pedro II visited the palace, still under construction, on January 10, 1860.
The museum is housed in a neoclassical-fronted palace that housed the headquarters of the state government, as well as the residence of governors until the late 1980s. Guided tours roam the rooms that hold 19th-century furniture and paintings by Italian artists. A mockup and photo panels show what the city looked like in the 1940s. The space is used for exhibitions and cultural events.
