It is a symbolic square of Valparaiso for its privileged location in the city center.
Here most of the public events as well as the Armed Forces parade are held. It was inaugurated on May 10, 1922. In 1936, the statue of the Capital Loba was installed, further strengthening the bonds of affection with the resident Italian colony.
It is between Pedro Montt Avenue and Independencia Street, at the height of Freire Street.
Valparaiso is located 112 km away. from Santiago de Chile.
