The Gasthof Eberhard is located in Sankt Michael in the heart of Styria, only 7 km from Leoben, 40 minutes from Graz and 2 km from the A9 motorway. The Murradweg runs past the house.
As one of Styria’s select slow food restaurants, traditional dishes and drinks from local farms are served. The rooms are cosy and simply furnished and very quiet. Guests can also relax under the old cherry tree in the garden or enjoy a glass of home-made apple juice.
Family-run for 4 generations, the traditional Gasthof Eberhard has been an inn for over 500 years. It is popular with business travellers, tourists and, because of its unique geographic situation, people passing through. In the surrounding area there are many museums and expositions (Leoben, brewery at Göss, Stübing open-air museum), the Iron Road (show mine, museums, concerts) and many churches and monasteries (abbeys at Göss, Seckau and Admont).
Leisure activities include cycling (Mur Bike Trail), mountain biking, horseback riding, golf, diving in a mountain lake, climbing, hiking and mountaineering. Skiing and tobogganing are possible on the Präbichl pass.
