This is also a great place to go for a stroll.In the vicinity you will find Bolsena Lake. (only 10 km away) where you can go fishing. canoeing (the owner can provide you with a canoe. on request at the time of booking). relax in the sun on the lake-side or dine in one of the traditional restaurants. Viterbo (15 km away). apart from being a beautiful town also lays claim to two spas. In the surrounding countryside why not visit the weird and wonderful hot sulphur lakes?Towns close at hand include Orvieto. Civita di Bagno Regio. Montefiascone. Bagnaia as well as Capranica all home to spectacular buildings and gardens. Mount Amiata offers fabulous walking opportunities in the shade of the chestnut trees. Rome is one and a half hours away by car. but can also be reached by bus or by one of three train routes (the owner will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information). Due to its architecture. this house is not suitable for small children.
