With traditional, elegant furnishings, each room at Swinside Lodge offers fantastic views of the surrounding Lakeland and flat-screen, wall mounted TV/DVD players. Guests can make use of a selection of DVDs from reception, as well as Egyptian cotton duvet covers and luxury toiletries.
The hotel serves a locally sourced 4-course menu that changes daily, starting with aperitifs and canapés, and finishing with a selection of hot or cold desserts and coffee. Guests can also enjoy Swinside’s impressive selection of over 70 wines.
The hotel’s garden is full of wildlife including red squirrels, pheasants, and hares. The beautiful lake Derwentwater is just a 5-minute walk away from Swinside Lodge, while the centre of Keswick, with its museums, shops and attractions, is 10 minutes’ drive away. The scenic Whinlatter Forest Park is just 5 minutes’ drive away.
