Passing the border of Brazil, we enter the city that is known for its commerce where everything is sold, a bank can either sell balinha as pistol or rifle.

After an hours trip, we arrived in the capital of Paraguay, Asunción.
It is worth at least staying here 2 nights for a city tour as we do not know if we will return here. So the next day we decided to get up early and leave to discover the city from which I point out some places of interest to be visited:

I call attention to this point because the physical border is about 200km from the technical border. (From Paraguay to BOlivia toward Villamontes) I mean if you do not pay attention to the Paraguay border, you do not stamp the exit and you will only notice it when you arrive at the border with Bolivia and meanwhile you have walked 200km You need to go back.
Arriving at the border with Bolivia prepare at least 50 USD because something will arrange to complicate the entry even if everything is well.

We arrived in Villamontes already late because with the trip, the border procedures, the bad roads and at least 2 stops we had to do in Bolivia to tip, we ended up arriving around 10 at night. She went to find a hotel and rest.
The next day we still had to stay in Villamontes to do the Troller review and we only left the next day.
In the meantime, I started to find out about the Death Route, because that was my travel objective, and the mechanic asked me: Are you going where? I answered that to Tarija.
So tomorrow I'm going to take the first road to death ... Suspense from my side and at the same time I want to go out and see this road, but I waited.

3 days later we left Tarija in the direction of Potosi, the highest city and where it is the largest silver mine in the world. It was a very interesting trip despite being almost all the time in Ropio, but as it had rained it was not dusty. We stopped many times to take pictures and admire the landscapes that were really beautiful.
As we approached Potosi the Troller was losing more and more strength, the more we climbed the less strength he had, so much so that when we arrived in Potosí he could not get past the 50km / h and at the maximum 3rd gear.
We arrived, once more hotel and the next day we left for the discovery of the city.
We ended up hiring a guide who showed us places of interest and decided to go with him to visit the silver mine.
First we had to buy coca leaf to offer to the miners, (local tradition) then we went to the mine. Just looking at the entrance already frightens (no security conditions).
Since we left the city to the mine that the guide told me to chew a few leaves of coca otherwise I could not take ... and I do not and no.
Well when we arrived at the mine I could not even put the machines to film and photograph on the shoulder such was the fatigue and the lack of oxygen, was when I decided for 3 little sheets in the mouth ...
God, it looks like I took a gasoline injection.
I was ready for the adventure, I was not tired, there was no lack of air, everything returned to normal, I still asked if I put some sheets in the fuel tank if the Troller was also going to get hard, which he thought better not because he could fly ...

Finally we arrived in La Paz, the traffic is hellish, I just expected when I was going to hit the car, but the truth is that everything flows well just to get into the rhythm and give a crazy too. No one wants to hit anyone so everyone turns around as he can, rules there is no one is a save himself who power. We decided to stay 2 days in the city before we went to the famous Death Route.

It's D day, the day of finally getting to know and passing the famous death road that I dreamed years ago to know.
We left early on the new road towards Coroico, yes, because Europe offered a new road to stop using the road of death and we went.
The landscapes are beautiful too, each mountain more beautiful than the other and so around 10 in the morning we were in Coroico.
We had lunch, walked around the very small town and after lunch we started the road as we had been recommended to do. Make the road of death but rising.
It was really worth it, at times I still thought about going back, but I ended up doing the whole course and it satisfied my curiosity. Worth it

Copacabana and Lake Titicaca

We returned to La Paz and the next day we went to Copacabana to visit Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian side.
